Save the Date for a Fundraiser Walk- August 10th- This is a family friendly event for ALL ages. It is also a great volunteer activity to show your support, and lead our kiddos by following our example showing how important it is to get involved and give back to the community. The walk will take place in Fairfax County at Burke Lake Park. Donations will go towards Children National Hospital, Kid Power and for the advancement of Obesity prevention and research.

Bretton Woods Golf Event – September 21st 12-00 to 4:30 followed by Dinner from 5-7PM. We are looking for sponsors to help host this event especially from our sports health/cardiac health/ vascular and pain management specialties. GWAPI Mentorship Program: We’re thrilled to announce that our mentorship program is being led by Dr. Arpana Shah. Get involved and support South Asian students from middle school to early medical careers. We are recruiting for:
- Mentoring Executive Committee- (6-8 members) to be involved with planning events, managing outreach, and help lead initiatives
- Student & Physician Mentors- Offer shadowing, research, application help, and peer mentorship
